Train Horns
#1
I've been looking at buying a train horn. I've done some research but wondered if anyone here has one or knows a little something more about them. I want a loud one. (Loudest you can buy)

I run a set of Nathan K5L. It's 5 horns and will knock the socks off any of those 3 horn chrome plated horns all the custom places sell on the net. Got mine off eBay.

I wish my uncle was still working. He worked at CSX for 30+ years as a mechanic. I'm sure he could've gotten his hands on a real horn.

Nathan K5l is what Northfolk Southern runs along with a few other RR so you are getting the real deal. Just remember this they go thruough air like a MFer and you may want to put it a dedecaited airtank for them also run a 1and 1/2 inch air line for it rigid would be best aka metal to get the best sound from it. What ever you do do not blast the DOT officer with it LOL.

http://www.hornblasters.com/products...ry.php?class=8 Try these I had some on my s-10 when I had it, but make sure you get a adjustable pressure switch so you can turn it to switch off at 200 psi because the one they give you shuts off at 145 psi and thats not really enough , pretty damn loud for the money. I had the 4 black ones but the other ones should be even better then the ones I had. It comes with tank, horns, air line, and everything you need, just add the adjustable switch instead of the one they supply.
