Default Major Accident on US75 in McKinney, Texas today - CLOSE

http://www.myfoxdfw.com/myfox/pages/...Y&pageId=3.2.1

This accident was just ahead of me today. That f**king Ford 1/2 ton had passed me not long before it happened- it was tail-wagging and unstable.

The driver of the big truck had minor injuries. You people that don't wear your seat belts might want to take a look. You are idiots.

I ended up backing up about half a mile to get off- the McKinney police department stopped traffic for me to do so and guided me and the other drivers. The McKinney cops were on the ball. Before traffic even packed up, cruisers were coming from all directions and had shut down on-ramps and started forcing traffic onto off-ramps an directed traffic at the affected intersections.

Doesn't say anything about citations issued. I sure hope the pickup has GOOD INSURANCE. Looks to me like he's the one that caused the whole thing. I'm surprised he had that dump truck secured well enough not to lose it, and I'm sort of surprised it didn't roll over. Generally, the 4-wheelers are not smart enough to secure something well enough for that.

As far as who's at fault, I'm sure that will be sorted out.

The pickup driver most likely is a Mexican taking all three units south to the border so they can be fixed up, then brought back to the US and re-sold.

Or maybe it will go further south than the border...and rust out in the Mexican outback.

You can see these guys on every road. Some of them are excellent drivers..others haven't a clue....but they are all hauling junked out cars to Mexico.
