for Snowman from Smokey and the Bandit has passed on. One of the greatest entertainers and country music pickers has left us. Jerry Reed passed on today at the age of 71 due to emphysema. I will miss him and always value the times he made me laugh no matter how bad my day was.

I am saddened to hear this, First the Great Chet Atkins, Now his long friend Jerry Reed..
My Father who play's the guitar like his idol Chet.. Almost cried the day Chet died.. I wonder now how he feels.. Not only did he like Jerry, He had the pleasure to play with him..
