I would like to thank....

the guy that opened his door and pitched the COLEMAN cooler from his truck. It landed a bit short of the guard rail, still on the pavement. The gallon jug of ice tea wasn't worth the effort to pick it up, but the cooler is a different story.
First of all, it was in a position where it could have been driven over. I don't know how much damage it might have done, but I'm sure that trying to get it out from under a truck would have been a chore. And, no, I did not drive over it, or hit it. So, why am I thanking you??? I did pick it up. Not damaged very bad at all. As a matter of fact, it was almost completely intact. And, COLEMAN is a good brand in my book. I had one once, and the only reason it stopped working was the power supply I was using it with in the house went up in voltage and took out the peltier unit. The only problem with this one was the outside fan that cools the heat-sink from the peltier unit. A 12 volt, 4" muffin fan available at any RADIO SHACK for just a couple of dollars. Sure beats buying a new one and spending all that money. This one works just as good as the brand new fan. Now, I have two, good, working coolers. As long as the peltier unit is good, they are always worth a new motor. My other one is on it's third motor now, it uses a piece of piano hinge and has to be sitting like a chest freezer because the latch pulled out about three years ago. So, your garbage is now gone, the obstruction you left on the side of the road is gone and no one is going to run it over and get it stuck under their truck, and I really do thank you for the donation.

My other one is an IGLOO. That's the other brand that seems to hold up well. The off brands I've had work fine for a couple of months, then stop cooling. But, these two are the cream of the crop. As long as you don't exceed 14 volts to them, they seem to run forever.

OMG :!: :!: :!: :!:
Do you believe this? I just got a free sample from one of the shippers... A block of SHARP CHEDDAR... 44 pounds in one block    And, it just fits into "my new cooler" with about half an inch to spare, all the way around. I know how I'll keep it cool on the way home, but.... I think I have enough cheese for EVERYBODY IN TOWN..... Thanks again for the donation, Bud. I had no idea I would need it this bad, this soon...

Perhaps your calling in life was to work a trash truck? Good find with the cooler and good luck with that cheese..........man that's a lot of cheese. You might want to mix in some prune juice in your diet for a while.

Man......What a deal for you Windwalker. Nachos and Cheese, Cheese Fries, Grilled Cheese, Cheese Omelets Brocolli and Cheese, Fondue, Cheese and Crackers, Ham and Cheese Macaroni and Cheese, Shredded Cheese for Steve's Chili.... Made it the other night...awesome, I must say. 8) Speaking of Chedar Cheese dip: Get a round loaf of fresh bread and cut out the middle so it's a bread bowl, Mix cheese, beer and a few jalepinos peppers so it's thick enough. Put mix in breadbowl, cut up bread from middle of loaf into chunks and have at it. With more beer of course.

Think I'll slice off a couple of pounds and take the rest over to the local bar. Let them dice it up and set it out for the patrons. That should get rid of what I can't use before it goes bad.
Anybody know who to talk to about buying stock in "EX-LAX"?
