There would never be any talking involved before the first 2 cups of coffee.................no problem there.

Well...I like to read...but I'm more into pictures.
Words may be as powerful as a double edged sword...
but pictures are as good as a thousand words.
But ...alas...this is not about pictures.
...oh...and don't forget...actions speak louder than words.
Gestures...one of my favorites.
Words are so over-rated...and spelling is for the Bee's.
Comprehension, without the visual, is only perception.
heh heh heh heh heh-snicker

RH, I had always envisioned Rebel's hind quarters in a more shapely manner?

So matcat, whether you believe it or not, there are those of us who possess an extensive vocabulary, as well as superb reading comprehension skills. Practice makes perfect.
Now, if we were being tested on one of your areas of expertise, like beer, I'm sure you would beat me easily.

I think you are confusing me with GolfHobo on the beer thing :P And I am quite educated myself, perhaps not in English language, but I have a past career as a computer programmer. That pointless test uses words I have never seen in my life, and I read a lot, I too read encyclopedias and dictionaries just for fun, and I used to love reading technical manuals!

Ooops sorry I confused you with mackman (his myspace pics). And my point was the words used aren't average words that most people would know or ever hear. Language is only one part of overall intelligence so don't take these results too seriously. Besides we all know that it isn't what you know, it's what you choose to do with it that counts.

Yeah, back when I was a teenager one of my favorite pastimes was reading truck & equipment repair manuals.
Every night while other kids were out doing their normal teenager stuff, I'd be at home reading those kind of things, that was fun for me because I had (and still have) an intense interest in it.
