I passed through this POE this spring and again today and nobody was there. Does anybody know if this port is defunct?

It looks like it doesn't see much occupancy. I remember this spring the snow was piled up on the steps and against the doors, so it was obvious that nobody had been in there for awhile.

 

I Kinda Doubt It the Stop Light,
Was knocked down in the 50's by A Hay Truck & they never did Bother to put it back Up, Old Butch Cassidy stayed at The Vernon Hotel & it is said that Tom Vernon had A map of were the Train Robbery Loot from the Union Pacific Railroad robberies was Hidden, Tom Vernon Never dug up the Treasure But It is rumored that he give his nephew the Map & he did, Located near Craig, Co in or around 1977 or so! Just thought Ya might like To know 8) :idea:Ya Gotta watch them Women down in the Town of 4 mile,Sounds like the Place to Be!

 

I remember it being open one day. I think it was like the 20th of July...in 1981.. guy had been fighting with his wife...so went there to cool off.

 

Wow. Sounds like someone is running around in the middle of nowhere! lol
