Nope, you read it wrong. Trust me.
No sir I didn't, I'm starting to wonder if the fumes from your truck being on fire is messing with ya.

There is still hope! The reason I say this is cause I just got to thinking about what she said. "We prefer not to provide trucks for the road test but do for people who have established themselves here" (I'm sure I twisted it around somewhat). I've heard that hauling grain is hard work with alot of waiting and I think that she said this for the reason of why take the risk of providing a truck for the road test to an outsider with the chance of them quiting once they find out how hard and dirty hauling grain can be and they rather provide a truck for the road test to someone who has been with them for awhile whether it be working in the shop or something like that and use to the hard work and know that if they let them get their CDL that they won't quit. I'm gonna go up there with the mind set that I'm not gonna get the job and I'm gonna tell her I've always wanted to drive a truck since I was little and I'm determined to do it by any means neccessary and if it means I have to prove myself out in the shop or something then I'm willing to do it to show that I'm a reliable asset to your company and that I won't quit cause I got a little dirt on me or sweating too much. I'm gonna tell her driving a truck isn't exactly just driving a truck while enjoying music and the air condition. Yeah the title says "truck driver" but with hauling grain you have to get out and unload the product and roll or unroll the tarp and get inside and sweep it out and make sure it's clean or do a wash out. It's apart of the job and I'm not afraid to get sweaty and dirty! Hopefully she'll reconsider and let me use a truck for the road test. Ya never know!

Thank you and it's hard not to agree with them. I plan on impressing them alright, I'm gonna tell them I know why they won't provide a truck for the road test and gonna share my knowledge and wisdom with them! Hell I may end up yacking their ear off.
