[quote="Twilight Flyer"]Does it bother anybody that you can walk from one ocean to another ocean on this continent without ever touching the grass? 8)
If one was careful, I believe this could be done 75 years ago. Done with ease 50 years ago. Now in Montana, there are places a person(s) can utilize unmotorized travel and proceed in one direction and not cross a "road" of any kind for a couple of hundred miles.

becomes president--- do you think he will mandate that trucking companies install-- remote TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING systems in all their trucks?
And regarding his Energy Plan...."Tire pressure gauges in every vehicle". Obama FINALLY has a policy.

math exercise:
My truck is running 63mph- flat out on straight level road. I see I'm gaining ground on the WSE truck ahead of me. I'm 3 truck lengths behind him-- It takes me 3 minutes exactly to reach his rear DOT bumper( of course, i've already changed lanes to pass him) How fast is he going? It takes me exactly 1 minute to get up-- nose to nose with him. How fast is he going? I then see he's talking on his cell phone. It--- now takes me exactly 5 minutes to pull ahead and get my DOT bumper far enough ahead to safely change lanes back in front of him. Now, how fast was he going?

In related news; What do you call two or more identically governed trucks trying to pass each other? Special Olympics In addition; You can always tell a truck driver from Alabama,,,,,,,,, But you can't tell him much.
