Im on the oakley website looking at getting a new pair of sun glasses. What are polarized lenses and make them worth the xtra 50bucks. Is it worth it??

I love my now 20 year old Revo sunglasses.
I bought them for about $200 way back in like 1988.
Before these, I always enjoyed Rayban aviators most.

Revo was made famous by the work they did for the Nasa program.

This got my interest, and after putting on a pair...I've never had better.

I don't wear anything other than polarized sunglasses now - they really do a great job killing glare, especially up here in the NE during the winter.

Course, I buy cheap sunglasses due to my tendency to misplace them. I've had a pair with amber polarized lenses for about a year and a half now that I got for $13.
