Default Driving bans in Europe

Can anyone please help me? I need to know the driving bans in force during the summer holidays in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Is there anyone out there who has really accurate information? When I look up online I either get varying information or none at all!! Look forward to your help.

forget above post, just saw that you live in England, thought you might be an American going on vacation. The Germans did have a complete ban on the Autobahns in the seventies on Sundays, sure was weird to see them empty back then

Still have bans in some European countries on Sundays AND Saturdays during their holiday shutdown period in August!! Drive, what we call, an articulated lorry, max 44 tonnes, less in some countries.
