HOBO can't find his AZZ....
With both hands and a flashlight!!
:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: [just thought I'd preempt the snide remarks!] Now.... I don't seem to "get" the "Search" function on this site! Everytime I enter something, I get hundreds of results that have nothing to do with what I'm looking for! HELP!! If I search for the folowing phrase, enclosed in quotes, "makes really long posts"..... I should get exactly ONE RESULT.... as I'm pretty sure that combination doesn't show up 200 times or more! :roll: But, I just can't seem to do so! Do the quotes not help? Must I use "and"? What happened to the sticky on how to use the feature? Oh, and I don't need a simple answer like "type what you want in the top box." That don't work! If you were looking for ONE single post with a unique phrase of say three words, how would you do it? And please be specific. Thanks in advance... and I'll TRY not to be so much trouble in the future! :wink:

Well I can get it to return with this thread at the top of the list, and 68 other posts with the following: In the top right box put in your phrase without quotes (makes really long posts) Just below that check the button for "Search for all terms" Down in the lower left select display results as "posts" Does that help? Adding the author in the second box helps narrow it down as well.

STILL got many posts that didn't match, and always HAVE, but your ideas helped! In THIS case, I was "misremembering" the actual phrase, and should have shortened it to eliminate words that weren't actually THERE! Anyway.... I FOUND it! And my response is in the "other" forum. Not as funny after all this work! :roll: THAT'LL teach me to respond more quickly! I put it off until I had to go out again. By the time I got back, I forgot where it was! :lol: In comedy, they say...., timing is everything! I guess I flopped on THIS one! :lol: But, I just couldn't get that post out of my mind! :wink: Yeah, I KNOW my posts are really LONG at times. Okay.... MOST of the time! But, when he said "long posts"..... it just hit my funny bone! I probably would have responded immediately if it weren't for the fact that I STILL have to hit submit about 10 times or more to get something posted! :shock: :roll: Believe it or not.... as a result, I have to pick and choose which posts are worth my time and effort to respond to! :shock: As SCOE once said (I think) "it's only supposed to happen to Hobo!" :lol: I think it is a Moderator plot to keep my post count down! :wink:

Either MANY others have problems with the search function and had no information to offer.... OR.... LOTS of people agree that I can't find my AZZ with a flashlight and both hands! :lol: :lol: It's OKAY, folks! I can laugh at myself! And, I don't mind if you laugh along! :P :P :P Hay !! I saw yer azz...it was attached to a USXpress driver that was blocking the pump island at the Beaumont TX Petro..while he was inside eatin boudain!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
