Wireless internet service

There are 2 types of wireless internet. First off, there's WiFi, which is what you find at the truckstops, McDonald's, Starbucks, etc. 99% of the time you'll pay to use WiFi at a truckstop.
The 2nd type is through your cellphone provider by using an AirCard. With this, you'll pay a monthly fee to your cellphone bill and add an additional card for your computer. I use Sprint and I love it. There's very few places where I can't at least get on the internet. More and more places are getting 3G, so the speed is getting better out here.

Verizon. It's about as fast as my cable modem in high strength areas, and even when my cell craps out I can usually connect(reminds me of dial-up in those areas, though). Great coverage, about $60/mo.

I think I'll probably just end up using one of my PDAs as a modem and stick with Sprint.

I think (don't quote me, though) that a AirCard (USB, PCMIA or ExpressBus) are faster than a phone-as-modem.
