we have a new haul, we deliver a load from Georgia to a customer in Indianan, then go 3.7 miles to a sausage plant, load up fat and go back the 3.7 miles to the same customer, that load pays a minimum of 4 hours to the truck at 60 bucks an hour plus $27.00 fuel surcharge, so it's $267.00 minimum for going 7.4 miles.. thats about 36 bucks a mile.. we are supposed to start doing one everyday.. I did 4 last week.. anything over 4 hours pays another 60 bucks an hour, its a real pain getting in and out, because you have to drive through the employee parking lot to get in and out, but for that kind of money, I guess it's worth it.

yeah...so this morning before i went to work i was in bed with 21 year old triplets. blonde hair, blue eyes, smokin' hot. anyways...as i was getting ready to go to my 350,000 a year job they were all begging me to stay, they said they had never had it so good before. and then just as i was walking out the door i checked my mega millions ticket and i won...damn my good luck. so long story short i got to stay home and satisfy those 21 year old triplets again and again and again...well you get the idea. NOW, CAN ANYBODY BEAT THAT????

we have 2 owner operators who want nothing to do with this load because it's so hard to get in and out, seems to me they would jump at the chance to go 8 miles for 267.00.. a couple gallons of fuel, no real wear and tear on your truck, but they dont want to have to navigate the parking lot, I just dont get it.. |
