Just my 2 cents, but I read on MSN.com that a laptop was one of those things you don't buy used. I forget the reasons why. I read else where on this board that you could get a basic one for under $500. Technology moves so quickly, you are probably better off with a new one. The old ones might be a bit slower and you don't know how the previous owner abused it, like whether he dropped it at some point or not. Just saying, is all...
