Hi Everyone,
My husband is an O/O leased on with PTL and I can't get ahold of him. He always calls first thing in the morning and I've had his number on redial for hours and he's not picking up. I haven't got the slightest clue about what to do. I have no phone number to reach someone @ PTL. I don't really even know where he is except that he's in Tennessee heading to New Orleans. Anyone have any advice? Thanks, Erin

If this is the correct company maybe this will help.
http://www.ptl-inc.com/marketing/htm/contact.htm I always know where my husband's truck is through his companies online tracking.

It looks like they do. Your husband probably has to get a password for you to use it.

Come to think of it, I may be able to track my husband's truck but if he didn't answer his phone for a long time I don't have a direct phone number to his dispatcher's office.
I doubt his companies corporate office would be much help. Something to think about.

I always call my wife every morning at 7AM, then at 5Pm when she gets home from work.
I always let her know, if I'm going into an area where there may not be any cell signal. It took a while for her to understand, that I may not always be able to pick up when she calls. Sometimes I'm out tarping or may be sitting on the John.

Once I was stuck at a shipper out on the shore of the Great Salt Lake and I had imaginary cell service. I was showing two bars of digital service, but thought it was odd my wife had not called all day. I tried to call her and my phone reported that it could not connect to the network, then claimed to be searching for service, then again claimed to have two bars of digital service. I could repeat that process all over the shippers property, so she was quite worried when I finally got loaded and gained real service about two miles down the road.

To be honest a person, unless there are mitigating circumstances, should wait at least 24 hours beyond the normal routine before hitting the panic button.
When I was on the road I usually called my wife twice a day, but there were some days that was not possible for one reason or another. One thing that I always made sure of though is that my wife had the phone numbers to dispatch in case there was an emergency.
