Default I'm a bit confused here.

Somebody, please explain this, if anyone really can.

A woman in NY. age 44.
Mother of four.
Former Assistant DA.
Former PTA President.

Intercourse and oral sex with a boy 16.
Sometimes in her car, sometimes at home.

Oral sex with a boy 15.
Sometimes in her car, sometimes at home.

Pot and other drugs with several teens.

Husband is Police Chief.
Husband and kids completely unaware.

He's from FL.
About the same age.
Former Federal Prosicutor.

Emailed a woman in Detroit over a year.
Flew to Detroit to meet her and have sex
with her 5-year-old daughter.

She's caught because one of the parents sent
a letter to the police, requesting an investigation.

He's caught because the woman
in Detroit is a policewoman and it was a sting operation.
He flew to Detroit and was arrested when he got off the plane.

She's facing 4 years.

He's facing 20 years.

While I do agree that they're both scumbags, she already engaged in illegal acts, on more than just one ocassion. Sex with two teenagers, and drugs with several teenagers. She has already committed the acts more than once.

He flew to Detroit and was intercepted at the airport. Not only did he not engage in the act, he never even saw the little girl (who doesn't even exist).

Now, he's facing a 20 year sentence, and she's only looking at 4 or less? Is this something about "YOU CAN'T RAPE THE WILLING?" or what? I mean, I know she's not likely to get either of the boys pregnant... Where I'm from, the kid had better be PAST his/her 19th birthday or it's STATUTORY RAPE. And, it will get you 18 to 20. She's not good looking like a couple of the teachers that went to jail for this. Where does this double standard come in?

In the first case, you've got contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Certainly, it's bad mojo, but what horny 15 or 16 year old high schooler doesn't dream about having sex with one or more of their teachers? I know I had a few hottie teachers and in terms of intention and desire, the boys were no different than the teacher.

I believe the other case is a hundred times worse. You've got a disgusting pervert crossing state lines with the intention of raping a defenseless 5 year old child. If that child had been real, you know that child is not thinking the same things the boys in the first case were thinking. In addition, if this scumbag flew all the way to Detroit with the intention of doing this, then he's done it in the past. Remember the transcript of the tape between him and the "mom", when they were setting it up? He said "I promise I won't hurt her. I've done this before and I'm very gentle." Give him 20 years in Gen Pop, force him to wear a dress, and give him deathrow cellmate name Big Bubba.

I think I see what the deal is. Let me be as forward as possible.

Now granted, he should have his nuts cut off for his crimes....death is too good for him, IMHO.

The reason the woman got a light sentence for her crimes is, and always shall be, because the courts are always for the females within this country.

Now notice that I did NOT say the laws. I said the courts. When the roles are reversed, and a man commits the same crime as she did, he will serve maximum time in prison. It has been this way since the country was born. Women cry a little, and get away with murder. When a man chopped one head off his cheating wife, he has to spend millions to get the same results.

What's the moral of the story? If your a man, and you want rights within this country, you better be gay.

Hope this answer helps.

Good luck.

Twilight I agree with you 1000%. I have a 9 month old daughter and in a few years anyone ever shows up and goes I am here to rape your little girl making it to General Population in Prison or Jail will be the LEAST of his worries. He will be 6 feet under before the police even get to my house and I will be claiming a break in and self defense. Lets just say in my family sex offenders are lower than whale crap in the Marianras Trench.

My 3 girls are 15 (next week), 12, and 5. So yeah, I get a bit riled about it, too.

You know what really confuses me.......

To Catch a Predator worked with the police to catch around 23 men in a sting operation held in City of Murphy, Collins County, TX. The sting was the men coming over to have sex with minors. The evidents was the computer logs, along with video of most of the men confessing.

The DA for Collins County let them all go. While other DA in other counties are trying to put these men away, he want them all to go out and multiply with the local minors, just because his buddy got caught, and decided to put a bullet in his head.

This is the type of people who we trust to do their job.........

You know it's funny that you say that.....other DA's from all over the US had no problems prosecuting perverts like them.

But then again, do you live around Murphy? I live in the next county west of them. Glad to see they are on the ball, letting all of those men go.

And I'm not surprise that you would stand up for them, either.

This wasn't a case where they couldn't have been charged. This is a case that the DA wasn't going to charge them to prove a point. I'm still not clear what that point is, though.

Since your defending perverts today, why don't you explain to all of us what that point is. Birds of a feather stick together.....maybe you understand why these perverts should be let go.

And before you get stupid.....damm, too late.....well, anyways, DA's from surrounding counties have gone on record stating that they could have charged these men. So go ahead, and let us know what that law degree that you have explain why this DA couldn't.

I had not read or heard this part of it before. I was just thinking, this guy is a FEDERAL PROSICUTOR. Then, I think about the guys that are not on Capitol Hill anymore because they "LIKED YOUNG BOYS"... Granted, these are actually only a few out of how many, but it still makes me wonder, just what have we got running this country?

Then, you look at a former assistant DA, and she KNOWS the law. Just the drugs should net her 3 to 6. Then, look how many years the teachers got for fooling around with just one boy. She's played with two, that should be double the sentence. I would have expected 10 to 12, not 4. I know someone that got 3 years for providing beer to minors. And, there was no sex involved. How does she only face 4 years with all she's done?

As for the Fed, just stake him out on an ant hill.

Uuuummm.... Might have to gag him to avoid the noise polution.
