Default Boots

I was thinking about getting myself a new pair. Like I need another pair.
For working the farm, and trucking, I've always wore RedWing boots, but I also wear Cowboy boots for fun stuf.
We have 2 western wear stores here, and there are some around the area. I am hoping to catch some "new year" sales.
I was looking online. I saw these boots.
I've always liked Nocona Boots.
Here is their online store.
Nocona Boots started in Nocona,Tx. About 45 or 50 miles east of here. Now, they are in cahoots with some big shot outfit, and they moved them to Fort Worth, several years ago. :?
Anyway, I also like the looks of Twisted Boots.
Laredo, and Dan Post make good boots.

Besides the Texans here :P , who else has a hankerin for Cowboy Boots?

Yeah, those Aligator boots are a little high. :P

My dad's brother has a custom made pair of turtle boots. I have no idea how much them are worth.

I remember when I was a kid, we had went to the Naconna boot place.. was one of the most rememerable time's.. I was young about 5 or 6, but remember it well.. We had stayed at my aunt Cally's outside of Idabell OK. and were all going to go down to the old Indian Burial Ground that she had donated to the Indians when they came through on the trail of tears.. anyway a truck was comming and we all jumped in the bushes. and low and behold I get a thorn all the way through my foot. They carried me to Cally's and she had put some kerrosine on it, and wrapped it.. I faked not being able to walk so dad would carry me.. But that all came to a halt when we went to the boot factory, I ran to the entrance.

I had a pair of deer skin Nocona boots years ago. Absolutely loved them. Now that its mentioned, I think its time for another pair.

I'm a boot girl. I like the plain, basic boots. Some of those toes look too pointy. I have a pair of cowboy boots, a pair of Doc Martens and hiking boots.

While I have to admit to not being a big cowboy boot fan, I'm a big fan of Waggoners Boots out in Henrietta  Madii got a pair of Rockys from them, got great service, and they stretched and played with them til they fit his foot right. Small family run, great service, even a hair cut if you need one too

The price of the boots pretty much. They wouldn't let us pay them to help him fit them right on his foot. The haircut is a brother to the man that runs the boot side, now if you want that its $10

I have a pair of "Georgia's" right now that have actually lasted me longer than any others. Dan Post are good. Ariats would be good if they didnt fall apart so quick.
