Dang...that's as close as I've seen the Foz-meister to expressing his own belief. I tried a while ago to pull that out of him and gave up in a blizzard of accusations and attacks.

So Fozzy...you do believe in "something" beyond the curtain...good for you and that sort of makes all that crapola you've been posting denigrating other's beliefs as just you being you and trying to get a rise out of people.

And I will offer a prayer to whom I believe in for your son to stay safe in Iraq.
Never said that I didn't believe in "something" beyond the curtain. Not once, ever. Praying is still silly...

I agree Fozzy. Praying IS silly...BUT ONLY if what you believe in is an impersonal "god"(for lack of a better word) that is some sort of energy force or alternate state and does not interact with you nor you with it. If that is what you believe than my prayer for your son was wasted energy.

...BUT...For me and for others here, that is not what we believe and for us, we pray to a personal God who we believe in and feel we will meet on the other side of the curtain. So for me, what I offered for your son was valid and had meaning.

Well I appreciate all forms of positive energy towards directed towards everyone in harms way over there. Focused positive energy has been proven to "work" in some studies.

Anyone praying for mine or anyone else's son is never a bad thing. It just doesn't work for me in the form that is called "prayer" because your basically assigning the task of this energy to someone or something else as an intermediary. If it makes you feel good.. do it.

I guess I should have worded the original post differently. Never meant for it to be a religious argument. Just pi$$ed about the lack of respect for the man that died.

Still doesn't make you right... just one of a group who can (and often does) get easily offended at things you don't bother to understand.

The one who gets so easily offended is you Fozzy. Your inability to resist a chance to take pot shots at Christianity every chance you get is proof enough of that.

And your inability to resist the chance to comment about my remarks without referring to the topic proves your insecurity and lack of faith that you claim that you have. You remind me of the lunatic muslims who where burning things to the ground and killing people over cartoons of their supposed god.. Try speaking to the topic once in a while and quit being such a sniveling twat.

Oh and Merry Christmas...
