A few days ago, when roadhog, Trukrswyfe, and I played Covert Front, Trukrswyfe sent me a P.M., about her computer acting up. She thought that she had a virus, and not sure if it had anything to do with the games. (Covert Front, etc) I myself never had any problems at the time.

Well, I wondered how well my wife would do, playing Covert Front. I pulled up the game, and she started playing. She figured that game out in about 15-20 minutes.
We found the link for Covert Front 2. We played that one, and finished it in about 30 minutes. (would have took me 2 days  )

Well, Sunday night, my wife called me to tell me that our anti-virus found a couple of viruses, and deleted them.
I woke up Monday morning, and I got on, and my anti-virus was going crazy. I got most of them knocked out, and my spyware cleaned up, but there were 2 icons in my taskbar that had little pop-ups, telling me that my system was infected. I tried to access my control panel, and it was no where to be found. I couldnt find my Windows Update, either.
My dad has a friend that does computer work. I called him. Well, I had no idea, but he retired. He gave me the number to a guy that he knows. So, I called the dude, and told him what happened. I took my laptop to him, and he cleaned it up. He told me that he found 400 some-odd infected files, and 60 viruses. I've never heard such a thing.

He asked me if I have downloaded anything lately, and I told him that I havent, just played some online games. He said that some online games can be deadly.

Dont know if I just happened to have some new friends come into my computer, or if the games are filthy, but yall be careful.

I don't know what to say.
I wouldn't have posted any sites I felt were trouble.
I only posted links to sites I trusted.
I haven't had any issues with any link to any site I posted.
I just spent hours looking through every link, and scanning each for problems.
I did full system scans, and deep system scans, and ran 7 complete securities programs to look for any potential problems.
I consulted others to see what they had to say, or if they found anything.

I decided to remove every link I posted, rather than be the source of anyones problem...real or not.

Crap can come from anywhere. My kids play the tee games all the time online and who only know what I pick up from there. Play at your own risk and then make an appointment with the IT Doctor.

The last computer I owned before buying this one in Feb. was the Matel Hot Wheels computer. I still have it and all the parts but that was back when dial up was practically the only option and AOL charged by the minute of internet usage. I have had offers to have people take it off my hands, I think it could be an antique by now.

There was a reason for me to go there, oh yeah I got a virus that ruined my files and never went on the internet at home again. Funny huh. Well so what I have learned it that if this computer goes kuput I will just buy a new one and write it off for business.

I also forgot to say that playing with you guys was fun and well worth the risk. Plus I Won so GOOD TIMES, good times.

roadhog, no worries mate.
I trust you, and your links.
Please, dont take your links from us. It just happened to happen at the same time. Just a coincidence, I'm sure. Who knows where I got that crap from. I just wanted to tell everyone to be careful, just in case that madness came from those games.
Maybe, I should have worded it differently.

I do thank you for the games. I did have fun. Although, my wife figured out Covert Front faster than I could any day.

Again roadhog, didnt mean to say anything to offend, or hurt ya.

I found a game. Rome Puzzle

I think it's fun. You can click help at the bottom if you need to, and you can get the idea. It's like Bejeweled. (spelling)
Fun game..
