This thing sounds way too good to be true.My biggest question is,can your home TV be watched while you are watching and if you change the channel on the road does your home channel change??I could see this as the biggest battle of the remote controll my home has ever seen  Keep us informed,Thanks

Yes, if you change the channel on the road, the channel will be the same as who is watching at home. Remember you have to have either a cable box, or a SAT box to work from.
To get away from that, like with mine at home, I have 2 receivers for my sat system, when I am not using my back office at night my son can watch it with out interfering with the rest of the house. We tried it out and it worked, but due to such a poor interment cable Internet connection where I live, he does not use it. So having a very good Internet connection is a must. Mine was routed into my home router to the slingbox. As long as your IP stays the same no problem. He watched it on his laptop with his Sprint aircard, so again better have a good Internet connection with the laptop. |
