so far I have to say the pilot in Newnan Ga. Is so far the better that I frequent because of number of parking the politeness of the staff and choices of eats. Fast food can be bad but you can order smaller portions and opt for a salid.I have found that I am satisfied with a jr cburger side salid.

Salina, KS is a pretty solid one.

Pilot bought the old Giant Truck Stop out in Jamestown, NM. I haven't been there since- but the Giant was a good one. All I can say about it now is that there ought to be plenty of parking.

The Pilot in Milfort, CT, is a mess. We park there often simply because we have a lot of customers in the area and parking there is convenient during rush hour. Plus, there is a Cracker Barrel nearby. There is a mall one exit south.

The Pilot in Ocala, FL, that used to be a Williams (there are two Pilots at the exit) has a good-sized parking lot.

Pretty much any of the old Bosselmans are decent. Pilot took over the fuel and travel stores and Bosselmans kept the restraunts.

The old Giant has a Bosselmans (Grandma Max's) rest. in it.

The Pilot in Anthony, TX isn't too bad, at least from a parking lot size perspective. It used to be a Williams.

Bosselman's still own the restaurants at the Pilots who took them over. They also still have the garages, or so I was told. The food is usually pretty decent and parking is plentiful, especially at the one in New Mexico.

Pilot bought the Bosselman's in Des Moines, IA and it is a pretty good stop. For those of you would like to play the ponies, tables, or slots.... got your chance down the street.

Seems like the stops that Pilot bought and just put their name on remain good ones. Pilot can't seem to build one right on their own.

We've been to the Bosselman's/Pilot shops a couple times and I was told to make the checks out to Bosselman's not Pilot. So I guess that's right!

The Bosselman's/Pilots in Grand Island, NE and Salina, KS are pretty d&mned nice. Plenty of parking, decent trucker's shops (money pits), great restaurants (for a truckstop). They have Pilot fuel, but for the most part they're still good old Bosselman's.
