Grammar 101: Names are nouns. Descriptive words are adjectives. In the sentence I wrote, I described you as "being like" a lap dog. Therefore, I clearly was not calling you a lap dog, and could not be name calling.

I hope this clears the confusion up for you.

Now can we get back to the original topic that was derailed by Steve?

All I see is two people, you and Steve, who want nothing more than to continue pointless bickering. This discussion didn't even involve you, but you chose to stick your nose in the middle of it.

If you feel the need to continue the personal attack, why don't you take it to another thread, so as to not derail this one any more than you already have.
