I'm planning a trip down to TN, leave around the 20th give or take. It's a sight seeing/scouting vacation. I getting real tired of MD and the crowds. People.........there the worst.
Anyway I was thinking about running to SC and then take 129 into TN. I've heard a lot about it and would like to see it, might do the Cherohala instead. Then I'd like to look around some. I went through my map program and did a route from Tellico Plains over to Memphis (maybe) and then back up to MD. Any suggestions on some good bbq joints? I like it sloppy ![]() Any suggestions for things to do or places to go are welcome too. Also where to look for lots to build on. Not Nashville though, I'm trying to get away from crowds.

Could you be a bit more clear?? And, BTW.... what is it about Tennessee that makes you want to relocate there??

ops: NC, sorry for the confusion. Instead of 129 (Dragons Tail) I've decided to do Cherohala for sure.

If you go that way there is a bbq place on 129 in Blairsville, you would turn right on 129 and go up to hiway 325 and turn left, its there on the corner, very good place.. |
