Default Truck wreck pics....

These were taken on I20 at the GA welcome center. The celadon truck passed another truck on the right and rear ended the front truck as he was merging onto the interstate.

Both drivers hurt no one killed. This was in a construction zone.

Yep, We were in the rest area when it happend. We have been here over 6hrs. They are getting ready to open up the road I think.

Scary part is, it could have easily been us. We were going to leave at the time the wreck happened but I wanted a drink and walked back in to get one. Came out and the traffic was backing up.

The Celadon driver is real lucky to be alive for smacking into the back of a much slower moving truck. I saw one a little over a year ago where the driver was killed on impact in nearly the same type of incident. Middle of the night, he missed that the vehicles in front of him were stopping and plowed into the back of them still running 65 mph.

It ain't done right unless there's an axle on the pavement

Seriously though, SLOW DOWN! I don't understand why people can't grasp this concept.

they're going the right way, the lanes are seperated by a wall. it looks wrong, but it's right, the speed limit there is 45. most trucks do about 65 or 70.

That maroon International is the tow truck hooking up to the back of the Celadon trailer to pull the whole unit back out of the rear end of the lead truck the Celadon truck plowed into. Once they pull them apart the tow truck will go back around to the front and hook up like normal.
