Seems trucking suits the older guys as they tend to be less likely to job-hop like us dumb kids. They spend years (decades) doing the same old thing, then decide they need something different. Kind of like all these RV'ers on the road, except they're getting paid to travel across the country.

Yeah definitely not what I was expecting. I went into to trucking cause I was burnt out from being a manager for so many years. I played some kind of management roll for almost 15 years including a district manager for a few. I did trucking cause I like not having someone look over my shoulder all day. Instead they look over my shoulder on a radio to find out whats up instead.

I've probably mentioned this in other posts. I went into trucking after getting a divorce, I was married for 1/2 a lifetime. I was an Accountant and a Manager over 7 Accountants. I would make a ton more back in the office. However, I got sick and tired of working with bitchy women. There's no way that you could have 7 happy women all on the same day. It was miserable working with women. UGH!!! Now I'm working with horny men not sure I made an improvement. HA-HA!!!
I'm sure I did make an improvement; although, some of the idiots on the C.B. prove me wrong at times. But I'm not saying how old I am I look 15-20 years younger than I am. I like younger guys due to their energy levels. My ex was only 3 years older than me and acted 20 years older. Guys my age just don't appeal to me. There's two questions women don't like to answer AGE & WEIGHT. I'll say I'm 35 and holding. How's that?!?
