I could never tell when my damn phone was ringing, so I finally switched to the most obnoxious ringing sound I could find. When it goes off, I want it to STFU immediately, because it's so incredibly obnoxious. It's effective.

Probably helps that my phone goes for days without ringing, because I don't really have anybody to talk to on the thing. My wife can't have her phone on at work, and we're working the same hours, so that only leaves people I don't really want to hear from anyway.

I talked to my wife the other night about what ring tones my phone has. She talks to me like I'm a moron when it comes to my phone. :P

She told me that I have "Good Bad, and the Ugly" ring tone. I was like, huh? She showed me how to change the ring tones, and she was right. It was from the movie. That Italian dude's orchestra. She said, "Silly, I got that ring tone from AT&T's website, because you like the movie." I was like, oh, cool! So now, I have The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly ring tone. When I hear it ring, it takes me a minute to remember that it's mine.
