Trucker Math problem! 13'6" - 4' = ?

hmm how can a driver not see that sign stating its height. i know exactly how tall my truck is and what i can get under if the load is lower than the top of my stack.

The sad part is that if he did not see a large steel bridge at just over eye level he never would have seen a car or anything else stopped in the road. One more instance where the police should be able to give stupidity citations. :?

I agree! That bridge had to have looked almost eye level coming up on it... Did he come around a corner doing 60 mph or something and just not have time to stop? That isn't a "This looks kinda close" bridge.

hate to point it out but ONLY ONE all the pic's and the news article http://www.fosters.com/apps/pbcs.dll...RS01/106300399 are of the SAME truck and trailer just that the news pic was taken after the truck was moved... also the news article lied (realy) as you can see in FOZZY'S pic's the driver DIDN'T drive off not knowing he lost his trailer.....?
It's horrible that news sources make up news when they don't have the entire story. It would be impossible for that to happen and "not notice".
