Anybody that has a pulse should be able to watch Shania with the sound turned off.

I can't stand most country with the exception of Tim McGraw and Charlie Daniels. I could listen to either of those for a long time. Live Like You Were Dyin' by Tim McGraw is one of my favorites and The Devil Went Down to Georgia is an absolute classic. No one plays a fiddle like Charlie Daniels. I got to see CDB and Alabama in concert back in the 80's. Alabama was the headliner but CDB stole the show.

As far as Rock goes, Aerosmith is one of the best. Def Leppard and Rush were two more of my favorites, as well. Creed is excellent and so is Green Day. I also have a 14 year old daughter, so Shakira has begun to grow on me, since I hear it all the blasted time. She'll give Shania a run for her money and there ain't no mistakin' that her hips don't lie. I tell my daughter that her hips BETTER lie. :lol:

Creedence Clearwater Revival, Garth Brooks, Cold Chisel, Th Dudes, Split Enz, Willy Nelson, Johnny Cash, Nickelback, Tim McGraw and the list goes on.............

 

I don't like to put music into categories, to me good music is good music, I don't like the new mainstream so-called country music, it is a bunch of crap, same with most of the new rock music, I still prefer the classics, AC/DC, Skynyrd, Bob Seger, 60's and 70's rock

Favorite singers would be:

Waylon Jennings is my favorite singer of all time, Chris Knight, Merle Haggard, Marty Stuart, Neil Young, Barbra Keith of Stone Coyotes is the best female singer/songwriter ever in my opinion, Bruce Springsteen, Gordon Lightfoot, Willie Nelson

 

 

Led Zepplin is nothing but a cover band. It has been documented that they have stolen most of their biggest hits from other artists.

 

Whatever dude. Robert Plant, and Jimmy Page wrote about 95% of their songs. Shoot, other artists couldnt even play Page's stuff. :P
