for some reason i got an email message saying my account was deleted do to violations of terms of service or something, and everytime i went to the website and clicked on message forum, it said i was banned?????? But now im home and back on, whats going on anyone know? does this happen to anyone else

Most likely, it had nothing to do with you. We had a twice banned idiot who went into Cyber-slam; very vulgar.

There was a nasty Troll that was banned, which was horrible enough to
cause a blanket banning of the posters ISP location, to stop him.
Normally, measures this extreme do not need to be done.

When a blanket ban of this type is necessary,
there is the risk other members accounts will be affected.
Email Twilight Flyer, he will do what he can to restore/repair your account.

Actually, here's what I am pretty sure happened. If you got an e-mail saying your account was deleted, it was most likely because you had another INACTIVATED account with CAD with the same e-mail address. After this spammer punk hit, we switched over to a manual approval for all accounts and part of that entailed going in and deleting all old accounts that had never been activated. So, if the e-mail address on that account was the same as your active one, you would have received an e-mail indicating it had been deleted, when in fact it was just the inactive one.

OR, wherever you were trying to access this forum from may have had the IP banned from someone else using that IP to do something stupid here. You said everything worked fine when you got home and came on here. Were you trying to access from another computer??

yeah i was on the flying j network wifi, but now im home on same computer and its working fine,,, this is only account ive ever had on CAD,......................

Well, if you got an e-mail, that would only come from having an account deleted. If you simply tried logging on with a banned IP or logon, it would just tell you that the IP or logon was banned. When we deleted those inactive accounts, it physically sends an e-mail stating that your account was deleted. The fact that you got one, means there was another account in CAD that had your e-mail address on it. And you wouldn't be alone. We're finding out that many active posters somehow had older inactive accounts that were deleted and thought it was referring to their current account.
