I doubt if he will get fired, Mel is smart enough to keep him off of regular radio. If Dopie and Ant brain were on satellite only, they probably wouldnt have had a problem.

Why do you say that? They didn't get suspended from Free FM, they were only suspended from XM. They are still doing the Free FM show.

perhaps it's because they dont bring in ad dollars? I just think xm panicked and didnt know what to do. they should of just let it go. Seems like Howard and Bubba can say or do anything they want with no problems, is it because they are on satellite only, or maybe because Mel has some balls and they bring in sponsers? Who knows? Who cares?

 

They do bring in the ad money, that's why they suspended O&A. If they didn't bring in the ad money they would have been fired.

Howard can say what he wants because he is Howard Stern. I'll be the first to admit O&A don't have nearly the power that Howard has. Howard would love to be fired, I have heard him say that. He didn't sign on with Sirius because he loves working, he signed on for the big pay day. He would have to say something really bad to get fired when Sirius has Millions invested in him. Bubba gets away with things because he works for Howard. If it was just Bubba on Sirius without Howard he wouldn't make it, and he couldn't get away with the things he is getting away with now

As Clinton would say.. depends on how you define "care" I find all of the replies interesting. I think Howard must like working, he has enough money to retire, just like Imus does. Bubba, I dont know about, he is a weird guy. and I think he is a closet gay or at least bi. why else would he want to watch guys shower and see their you know whats and hear them having sex?
