Any one have any experience with sleep paralysis or know someone who has this? It's not really driver related but just wonder if any drivers on here have any experience with it?

Sleep Apnea is totally different.

Below is an extract from an article on Sleep Paralysis..........read on pls

Sleep paralysis, or more properly, sleep paralysis with hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations have been singled out as a particularly likely source of beliefs concerning not only alien abductions, but all manner of beliefs in alternative realities and otherworldly creatures. Sleep paralysis is a condition in which someone, most often lying in a supine position, about to drop off to sleep, or just upon waking from sleep realizes that s/he is unable to move, or speak, or cry out.

Further information can be found reading this article.

Well... I haven't read the link yet, but if THIS is the definiton of it then, YES! It has happened to me. (no alien abduction crap) but I do remember "feeling" the presence of Demons.

It has happened on only about 2 or 3 occaissions, all within a short period of time. It was the scariest feeling I've EVER had in my life! And I ain't "skeert" of much!

Funny you should say that.....Once when it happened to me, I felt like I was awake, couldnt move and saw what looked like a combination bear, dog and demon hopping accross the floor like a frog. Freaked me out.
The mind is a strange thing....well at least mine is

Okay, I read the article. TOO close for comfort!

The part about "somone/thing sitting on the bed."

I had a double bed, and had been sleeping single for many years. There was DEFINITELY a weight change on the other side of the mattress.... it caused me to "roll over" into it!

I DID finally overcome the feeling and got up and walked around awhile. When, I returned to the bed, it started all over again!

Not ONLY is the mind a strange and powerful thing (if that's what it WAS,) but isn't it interesting that many people have had the SAME "mind" experience?
