I ruined a pair of shoes once. When I was with JB Hunt, I turned in my old tractor in Lowell and had to drive a rental car to Romulus, MI. I spent about 20 hours in the car without changing clothes. Oops. Stinky feet, stinky shoes. When I got home the next time, I tossed the stinky shoes and bought some new ones at the Nike outlet in Nashville. They have an entire rack of size 15 and up. Just for me.
Change your socks often. Rotate your shoes. Wear comfy sneakers for driving, then change to boots when getting out of the truck. |
