Have they come up with any reasons of why it went down?? They were all just cruising along in formation at a low altitude and Davis' suddenly veered down into the trees.

From what I have heard they are saying he might have clipped a power line or have ingested a goose into a engine.

:sad: Rest in Peace Lieutenant Commander Davis. I had the privilege of seeing the Blue Angels in an air show about 8 years ago and those guys were awesome. After the show the guys were visiting with the crowd, posing for pictures and signing autographs and it was unbelieveable how nice and polite those pilots were as they answered questions about their planes and routines. One cute young lady asked one of them if he was married! :sad:

Lieutenant Commader is a Higher Paygrade. 2 steps down From a Captain.
Ensign, Lieutenaut JG, Lieutenaut, Lieutenaut Commander, Commander, then Captain Then up to Admirals.
