He hasn't SAID that he was on the Ice Roads, but since he didn't deny it, perhaps he was.
Point is.... GPS systems DO make these kinds of errors for real. I used to work for Onstar, and you wouldn't BELIEVE how many restaurants are located 20 miles out to sea!!! :shock: :lol:
My biggest problem with gps systems, is that MOST errors are much more minor, and even our trained advisors couldn't usually "catch" the mistakes! Some people think that because it's a "satellite" system, it can't make mistakes. The problem is that the databases are HUGE, and almost EVERYTHING is typed in at some point, by a human.
It's NOT the coordinates given by the satellite that are wrong, it's the integration onto a MAP that gives the problems.
