They are complete whack jobs that shouldn't have the protection of the First Amendment. Unfortunately they are very wealthy Lawyers that know the law very well.

Shirley Phelps (daughter of the founder of WBC) was on the Ron & Fez Show a couple times spewing her garbage. They believe that natural disasters and wars happen because God is punishing us for our sins, for allowing gays to have rights. I would say go check out their website but thats just giving them attention they don't deserve.

This is a church of about 70 people mostly family. Very sick and warped people. Their church is not growing as most Christians stand against them and are disgusted with them and people do speak out against them. That is the difference between radical Muslims vs. radical Christians. The Muslims do not speak out against the fringe groups who want to blow everyone up.
