First of all, explain to me how the ships are going to take business away from rail? Wouldn't this give the railroads more business?

I'm all for intermodal, but i feel that one of the barriers is/was going to be organization; Everything has to go like clockwork. And, as you know, with ships and trains (freight trains at least) things just can't be very precise time-wise.

Trucks, however, can, if things go right, get things down almost to the minute.

So........i really think we should discuss intermodal. I feel it's important to our future.

Maybe crack open a beer.
