Well I have been very sick and missed 4 days of work. I went to the Doc today and found out that I have the Flu and Strep. I hate being sick, to me in my opinion there is nothing worse. I have been through 2 surgery's and I would rather go through them again than be sick.

Sorry I havn't posted latly, I havn't much to say, kinda fighting the inner battle, the enemy within you might say.

I miss all Y'all, and hope all y'all are doing well!

Yes Slim I know exactly what you're talking about. I've got the same thing too, but I'm still behind the wheel. I'll be home tomorrow evening and I don't plan on going out of the house all weekend. LOL Get well soon. Drive safe everyone.

keep those flu bugs over there with you, i don't want it! but seriously slimland, i hope you get better soon, being sick like that when you don't know which way to lie in bed, your hair hurts, and all you want to do is die is no fun. nurse V recommends a little tea with toast, or maybe some scrambled eggs.........nothing too much. now as to the "enemy within", i can't help you there, but wish you strength for your battle. :wink:

 

Hey Slim. Hope ya get to feeling better. My wife has had the bug this week. It's going around. Hope that you can get back on your feet.

Hey thanks all yall, This is the 4th day of my death desease, and I am about 80% back to normal. My hair no longer hurts as Vavega says'. :lol:

Bandits Cousin makes sure you take those antibiotics, We olderfolks can't handle the strep like the youngens. Get well!

Maple leaf, I feel your pain, and yes you need to be home in bed for awile. This stuff nocked me down for 4 days.. Get better

 

Tahnks Slim I appreciate it. I am however worse than when I got home yesterday. :sad: this is hitting me hard, just like the weather outside. Very high winds here. Started out with sleet last night, changed to snow and then earlier today it was freezing rain. Thank God I'm not driving right now. Drive safe everyone.
