I'm using Verizon. I've got a new laptop with Vista and had to download the drivers from the provided website. No problems so far, other than the wife's objection to the added expense.

I've been using the Sierra Wireless 860 from Cingular. $59.99 per month for unlimited service. It will work with Vista per The Sierra Wireless website. Though they are now selling the 875. The big difference is that the 875 will do 7Mb down vs my 1.8Mb.

According to Cingular all 3G will be upgraded to 7Mb down and eventually all EDGE networks will be converted to 3G.
