Park it! Bad wintry weather causing awful accidents everywhere. I guess I would be looking for another job if dispatcher told me that I had to run. I'm a wimp, first sign of ice, parking it.
Good luck to everyone out there and I hope that you are safe!

That whole area of the #401 highway can be the absolute worse. When I lived in Ontario I did runs to Montreal and down to Windsor. The snow and even the fog can very quickly go from good visibility to zero in a matter of a minute. Drive safe everyone.

I drove by Cobourg today and it was opened back up, they had the road all fixed up, It was white out conditions that caused the pile up and that tanker exploded, I don't know how many people died,
That area is a bad one, there are always accidents around Brighton where that big curve is at the 509

Two people were killed in that horrific accident. One woman survived the initial crash but when she got out of her vehicle she was hit by another. The highway was closed down for 30 hours in both directions. The fire got so hot that even sections of concrete exploded. Vehicles were burned down to nothing they said. Drive safe everyone.

I forgot to say that over 200 trucks were delayed because of this accident. Out of the 30 vehicles involved in the accident 7 were trucks. They had to repair a section of the highway that was about 500 feet cause of the damage when a tanker truck carrying unleaded gas exploded. The place where this happened was Cobourg Ontario, east of Toronto. Drive safe everyone.
