Look at the first picture below (click on the first URL) and you can see where this guy broke through the guard rail and left the road, traveling from right to left. He flipped across the end of the culvert and landed on the left side of it.

Look at the second picture (click on 2nd URL) and you can see how lucky he/she was.

Looks like the start of the Grand Canyon is where it's at. Maybe a solid wall is in the future for keeping someone else from attempting to be Evil Kneivel. Better to be lucky than good, especially in this case.
