It's $59 if you already have a Verizon phone else it's $79. Or, it's $59 without a Verizon plan already but not Broadband. If you think you have Broadband then bring up www.2wire.com and run the speed test.

ops: Any suggestions? They may have a deal at $59 if you have a Verizon phone plan also. Run the speed test and post your results.

I had the same prob when i got my new pc. Had to take the sim out of the card and put it in my old razor and connect with a usb cable .Both phone and card use edge technology so it make no different .But if you have got the newer g3 sim cards you will have a to use a g3 phone to get the faster speeds.

Last night I used Idleaire's wireless at the OKC Petro. Signal kept dropping and reconnecting and speed was iffy. Sometimes it was pretty fast, faster than what I have at home, and other times very slow. Tonight I'm at the Pilot in Waco (Robinson), TX and hooked up with Siricomm. Says 11Mbps, but it's only marginally faster than dial-up.
I'm a bit reluctant to drop $90/month on 'net, but this wireless stuff kinda sucks.
