Yeah, and a sweet lookin' KW T600 at that! Wonder how much it'll cost to get that rig road worthy again and what'll have to be replaced?

The driver was an IDIOT. How could anyone honestly think they can get away from the cops like that? No matter what the circumstances, no matter what you may have done, the cops will not let it go. So, now, he's got that on top of what ever they were going to stop him/her for in the first place.
Some years ago, in Wausau, WI, a cop was going to pull over a car on Grand Avenue. The driver took off too. He ran out of gas near Green Bay. Turns out that the cop was only going to tell him he had a tail light out. After that, he lost his license for 3 years. If this guy was a truck driver, and the truck was not stolen, he won't be driving a truck for some years, if ever again. What a way to end a career. Must not have been very fond of driving for a living. Guess there are fools and idiots in every profession. But driving a truck is like dragging a BILLBOARD behind you. You stop, let them check you out, and take your lumps if any. I've been stopped many times. Some years ago, I got a couple of speeding tickets, but that's all they wanted to do... Take a look at me. Spot check. Even got a CVSA sticker in my windshield at one. Or was this guy drunk and needing time for the alcohol to evaporate?
