I am sitting empty at the Rhodes truck stop at Exit 91 off of I-55 in Cape Girardeau, MO. It's raining and cool here.

I just dropped off a full load of haz-waste drums here locally. Tomorrow morning it's off to Navy NSA Midsouth facility in Millington, TN for a military haz-waste pickup at 10:00am. After that hand-load I'm going to take the short drive over to Little Rock where I will grab a hotel room (at company expense) before my two stops Wednesday- Little Rock AFB and Camp Robinson AR ANG.

Then it's back to Houston by Thursday morning. I'll drop the loaded trailer, grab an empty trailer, drive to Baton Rouge and shut down for a first thing Friday morning pick up at Albermarle Corporation for the usual full load of Haz-waste nastiness they are known for. Then once again back to Houston where I should be done and home for the weekend by noon.

More than you wanted to know, eh?

I love my job. I get paid out to my full 14 hours (hourly) whether I work it or not if I have a forced dispatch layover out of town. So I'll finish the week with around 2400 miles plus all the hourly, plus my per diem. Life is good.

-p.

Since I don't recall you limiting it to drivers  .
I'm sitting at home, spending way too much time refreshing CAD for new posts, and making money doing searches for other people. I'm also posting stuff to sell on ebay, and drinking eggnog.

I have been lucky to be at home since 12/10/06. I am going to head back to work next week. I have always taken a month off at this time of year.
