Slow Freight
#1
Just curious. It seems to be that time of year for inventories from what I understand. Has anyone else been hearing from their dispatchers freight is slow?
I have been averaging 2500-2700 miles per week still but I keep hearing it. As I write this I sit in San Antonio Florida at the Flying J at 285 MM on I-75. Waiting for a load.

Freight always seems to slow up at the end and the first of the year. Most warehouses are getting ready for invotory, Manufactures are getting new orders so they are working on get that ready, Freight company's are getting ready for the new year and it gives the drivers some kinda brake. Freight will pick back up in Feb. for all none dry box and first of March for dry box. This is just my experince about this. I have only been around the trucking indust. for about 17 years and I have worked in many warehouses.
