I started noticing that on occasion he would look out his driver mirror and mouth things, like no, not now wait. and then drivers would pass and make comments like, "good luck with your buddy on the side board" and "whos the blonde with the camera". Is is possible for him to somehow hide someone in truck where I couldn't see. I know this sounds so ridiculous and I feel like I am going crazy but I swear that there was someone else on that truck with us at times. Any other stories or if anyone else has heard of this please tell me.
Are you sure that stuff that you were smoking is legal???

Ummmm....
Wellll.....

Actually, I think someone should check the carbon monoxide levels in the truck....

Hard question to answer, being that it's really, really, really, really off he wall there...

Hrmm - so there's either someone riding on the catwalk or, ya, this is it, riding in the sidebox under the bunk - ya - check in there...

Ok Ok.... I,ll come clean!
I,ve been flying over to America and stowing away on various trucks as part of my grand scheme to make everyone as mad as Hog and I.
I would hide on the top bunk and make chimpanzee noises whilst people drove around and drive them nuts!
However, I can,t recall hiding on your truck, so you must just be Ga Ga anyway..
    :?

Gordonandteri: Well... if you're just taking us ALL for a ride, then I guess my attempt at a sane answer will just make me the GOAT, but....

I can't think of a basis for the comment about the blonde with a camera. Maybe you could provide MORE info? Are YOU blonde? Are they making these comments over the CB, or "mouthing" them back to your husband?

As for the rest.... here goes:

Your husband MIGHT be looking in this mirror and seeing another truck starting to overtake him, and for some reason he feels that truck is going to "trap him" behind slower traffic in front of him.

The smartazz driver of the passing truck sees him doing this, and is saying, in effect: "Well, I KNOW you ain't talking to ME, Bud... cuz I'm going by ya! So, since it didn't make ME slow down... you MUST be talking to some (imaginary) buddy on your running board!"

To test the first part of my answer, think back. Right after the other trucks passed you, did your husband change lanes and get in behind them?

I suppose stress could make you imagine the whole thing, but I suspect there is a more rational reason for it all. But, NO.... no one could be strapped or holding on to the outside of your truck without SOMEONE calling the cops and having you stopped.

No I am not a blonde and I am not taking you all for a ride. As I said before, stress is the only explanation I can give. The more replies I get, the more less sane I think I've been. Stress, lack of sleep ect... I have been home now 3 days and have caught up on a lot of sleep. I have talked with this forum and with my sister who is a nurse. It all breaks down to lack of sleep. I am an ex drug user and I do mean ex. My sister says it can be attributed to "drug flashbacks". I had heard of this but never experienced it. She says that with the stress and lack of sleep it could be brought on. (does this make more sense to ya all now?????) It's getting better, today is more of a "how ridiculous do I sound", day! I think I will stay off the truck for a while. It is too hard on all of us, my husband, his buddy, the blonde and myself! . Thanks again for all the replies. I am going back to bed now. ops:

Maybe your husband is 2 in one. What is that called? Skytzofrienik?
And him talking to his other self, is confusing you? or "not making fun of ya" but you could be so stressed you are seeing and hearing things! It can happen. or even both He is skytzo and your stressed, what a combination :? :?

I know when I am tired, some wierd things can happen!
