Sorry to hear it Kevin. Guess I could have been right behind you. Got my truck down to FL, and got it signed on with a company close to home. Then find out that the red-tape with Tallahassee gave me more than another week of vacation. That was NOT PLANNED for. Folks at the company are sorry about the whole thing, and just so I will be able to pay my bills for another week, I'm in a company truck till by base-plate comes in. I sure do miss my own truck. I've got an ENGINE... It REALLY PULLS. They can take this Mercedes and do something with it. I just don't know what. No pull, no brake... I WANT MY OWN TRUCK BACK... Next week...
What would be your chances of coming over here to drive? At least the language would be the same, even if the dialect is different. And you don't wear a towel around your head. I've got a PHOBIA about those guys... Do they have a name for that one????

Half the electrical is out in the bunk area. (I guess that's been disconnected because one of the other trucks burned down from something in there. Only thing I can say in it's favor is that when maneuvering, it steers short. The guy that designed the seat needs to be put to DEATH... Quite easily done... Just strap him in it for 11 hours. My back has been complaining for 599 out of the last 600 miles.
