Consider, might I suggest that you learn and utilize a saying that I hold very true:

"Believe none of what you hear, and only half of what you see."

You'll thank me for this.

The offer is still open, if you can find a comparable list of sexually deviant Democrats in equal leadership positions to the list of sexually deviant Republicans that I published, I'll donate $500 to a charity... possibly one chosen by the board, or Darfur... or children in some way...

What do you say? You said you could do it....

Thanks for proving my point. You and those like you (on BOTH sides of the political fence) get so wrapped up in the evils of a few, that you help "F" things up for everybody else. You fail to see the positives in the individual PEOPLE that are running, instead going with the blanket statement of "ALL (INSERT PARTY NAME) ARE (INSERT MAJOR SIN TYPE)". I could easily do the same thing with Democrats, but I won't. I would rather rise above it.

There are good and bad people in both parties, no more or no less per party. I suggest you start researching it and stop repeating sound bites. It gets old.

First of all, we do not have a democracy. We have a constitutional republic. We elect people to make the laws, we do not make them ourselves, as in a democracy.

Ever hear Limbaugh's definition of a democracy? It is crude, but correct.

Give me time - I MIGHT get around to it, if I feel like it.

But first I plan to de-bunk your list.

I beg to differ.

Read the post above yours. The reason I feel confident in offering $500 is that I posted the List of sexually deviant Republican Christian leaders right after the Foley scandal broke, and though MANY have made statements comparable to yours, I KNOW no one has posted a comparable list.

Why?

Mainly, I think it's because when a group like the Republican Christians use Religion for political purposes, no good can come of it.

Further, by insisting that gayness is a choice and a sin, Republican Christians make homosexuality something which, among them, must be hidden. The resulting furtiveness and repression does not make things better.

Democrats accept gays without condemnation. That makes for a lot less hypocrisy, and it also allows people to follow their true sexual orientations. (Forcing gay men to marry women does no one any good.)

Capitol Crimes, which I hope you watch, shows how lies and abhorrent acts, like forcing women to agree to abortions as a condition of employment in the Mariana Islands, gained huge money for the Republicans and stunningly, that money was paid into the Christian Coalition, Family Values' coffers for their political campaigns, to include Right to Life: Right to Life... funded by blood money from abortions.

Please watch:

It doesn't have to be you alone who does it. You plural is fine, if others on the board want to help you.

Just remember that I didn't use monetary crimes in my list, those crimes are different, more like the Abramoff crimes.

The list needs to be sexually deviant things: rape, incest, child molestation, etc. And, the Democrat has to have a similarly prominent position.

Let's say, sometime within the next three months.

So I already knew that you were my neighbor.

But the terms "staunch tax raising, family-trashing" are the same inaccurate, vicious, meaningless, constant attacks on Democrats that the Republicans have used for years. Those attack terms don't have a darn thing to do with any one state or any other location.

So I basically know what the candidates where saying throughout the recent campaign in your area of eastern Iowa.

However I seem to have somehow missed the "anti family" "tax raising" rhetoric that you seem to be referring to coming from the local Democrats.

I would be beholden to you if you could fill me in on that.

TIA
