Did Haggard contribute to Bush's trademark hypocrisy?
The hypocrisy is so huge. Just so huge.
Think about it, think about the hypocrisy of Bush saying he's protecting us from terrorism, when in fact he's created a breeding ground for terrorists.
Think about the hypocrisy of saying the drug bill was good for people, when in fact it was a huge windfall for drug companies, of which Bush is a major stock holder.
Think about the hypocrisy of giving HUGE tax breaks to the oil and gas industry, and talking about them as if they are a benefit to ordinary people.
So is it surprising that all of these things happened when Bush's adviser was such an outstanding hypocrite? (Haggard, as leader of 30 million Evangelical Christians, was an outstanding gay basher and proponent of Christian Values... but Haggard was seeing a gay prostitute and using meth to enhance the experience. Isn't that the height of hypocrisy?)
I am so awakened by this idea. I wonder how much influence Haggard and his morals, his hypocrisy had.
What do you think?

Well, I guess it is a battle for marriage.
I had a friend who was married to a gay guy, and it wasn't gay for her...

Think about the hypocracy of Bush saying HE and his party are the ONLY ones who can keep America FREE, when it is HE and THEY who have abrogated many of our Civil RIGHTS and freedoms... in the name of fighting a war that is NO longer about fighting Terrorists, but rather suppressing Insurgents against a "propped up" Democracy.
He touts Tax Cuts for the richest 2% as if ALL Americans are enjoying the benefits, while mortgaging the incomes of future generations that, under Democratic control, will have to increase taxes on the common man to pay down this debt!

I'll get into this one with you at another time, but I disagree with about 99.9% of what you have posted here.
By the way, out of curiosity - how old are you?

I saw Bill Gates and Warren Buffett on a discussion program with college kids, and neither of them has to pay ANY tax.
Are they struggling to feed their families?
and yet, they are asked to pay NO TAX.
To me, that shows something is wrong.
They themselves said it was wrong.
Bush and the Repubicans gave the Oil and Gas companies BILLIONS in tax breaks when Americans were paying the highest prices EVER for gas.
