Celadon fired all their Mexicans couple of weeks ago. YeeHaw! Yeehaw! They had about 250 Mexicans driving trucks from Laredo to Dallas. They filed suit against Celadon saying they weren't getting paid as much as the Americans.... Awww, boo hoo. They told'em to pack their bags, empty their trucks and go back to Mexico!
I am soooo happy! They made such a trash pit out of the Dallas terminal and were always stealing all the shower towels! Yea! Good riddance! I guess they smartassed themselves right out'of a job! The sun shines today!

celedons wages for its american drivers is nothing to brag about.

celedons wages for its american drivers is nothing to brag about. Well i'll give it a whoopteduuuuuu and if they were Americans, then they would of not been fired more than likely. They should fight for competitive wages in Mexico, not here, unless they are citizens.

Yea, them Mexicans were all "legal". They had H1B visa's to work in the US. H1B visa's are for immigrants doing jobs in America Americans don't want to do. They (The Mexicans with Visa's) drove 25 million miles last year. I guess no one in America wants to drive trucks so we gotta have immigrants (mexicans) do it.
And your right about the wages here at Celadon. They are low, industry wise. The talk is cause Celadon keeps hiring Mexicans they are keeping the wages for everyone else low. This movie is coming to a theater near you soon! Now maybe our wages will rise at least to the "trainee level?"

Yep, it's a full scale Mexican Invasion! This is not immigration. I'm wondering why these Mexicans are not back in Mexico trying to make their country a better place rather than come up here to steal our jobs? I guess cause it's easier... yep, easier to "run away" from your own country than make an effort to improve your living/working conditions back home!
