I know of a guy that works for our company that goes home every night and yells and cusses at his kids and wife sometimes slaps and beats them.

What should I do? Call the cops, confront him.

I wouldn't really do anything. You have to work with this guy. As long as it ain't really BAD BEATINGS i would let it go. Do you know how bad the beatings are :?: If his kids are acting up in school or what ever i think alittle smacking on there azz don't hurt. For his wife she needs to get help her self. Just my 2 cents.

I can't believe you actually said that-If you have read anything about Abusers you'd find that they Increase in Intensity and many end in Death.
Personally if I knew a guy that was doing that I'd pound his A$$.
Call the Cops or Protective services-You can do it Anonymously.

You need to call either the police or Child services, and the latter would probably be best because unless the police can get someone to talk or actually see it happen there may not be much they can do.

In WA. if the Police show up, and see's that one of them has any kind of mark. Whether it be a cut, or a bruise, or even a red mark. Someone is going to jail. If children are involved? CPS is going to be notified.
She may never call the Police, because she's living in fear.

Have her call a Women's Shelter-They'll take care of her and the Kids.

The kids are not acting up they wouldn't dare. I have talked to the kids and finally got them to tell me what is going on but I don't think I could get them to tell the police and the wife she hardly ever comes out of the house.

well if he is just taking anger out on them then i would call the police. Theres no need for that.

Call Child Protective services (or whateve that dept is called in your state).

Unlike the police, all they need to investigate this is an anonymous report of possible child abuse. The police will be called in by DCFS if the investigations turns up serious abuse against the children and mother.
